(Wireless-NewsWire.Com, January 28, 2016 ) Paris, France -- On Feb. 1, cellphone accessory retailer Case&More is launching the Globe Stick, its take on the ever-popular selfie stick on online retail giant Amazon's five European Union sites.
"We're really excited to launch this product throughout Europe," Case&More CEO Andrea Roncolini said. "It's gotten tremendously positive feedback since we launched it last year in the United States, and we know that customers in Europe will feel the same way."
Reviews of the product on Amazon's U.S. site have been nearly uniformly positive, with more than 90 percent of reviewers giving the device five stars, the highest rating. They've praised its size and construction, as well as its ease of use.
The Globe Stick is named for the ball-shaped end where the phone mounts, and offers 270-degrees of adjustment. It collapses down to less than 7.5 inches long, with a maximum length of more than 30 inches. Because of its small size when collapsed, it's perfect for travel, hiking, camping, and sporting events.
"We think we've created the most versatile version of the selfie stick," Roncolini said. "It's compact but offers a long reach when extended, and it holds nearly any size of phone. And because it uses a wired connection, it's much more reliable than those than use Bluetooth to trigger the camera."
As of Feb. 1, the Globe Stick will be available on amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.co.uk, amazon.it and amazon.es. The retail site has more than 270 million users worldwide, with many of them in Europe.
